To initiate further growth of the potato category, PLUS client briefed MTC to create clear distinction between the various segments, based on targetgroups and proposition. PLUS also used the opportunity to evaluate the packaging material, size and adapt where possible to make these more environment friendly. Saving on material used, stock keeping and product waste. F.e. for the ‘season-potatoes’ a generic foil in combination with a specific label is used.
Result is a clear shelf overview, each segment clearly communicating the most relevant product values, leading to a substantial growth of the potato category since then.
